The Bird of Paradise offers a unique blend of exquisite detail, spacious comfort and quiet ambiance. It was designed by Wilson & Associates, famed resort designers for the Amandari in Bali, Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Peninsula in Beverly Hills, and numerous others. Named after the exotic birds of Papua New Guinea, the Bird of Paradise is designed in an Asian Tropical style with meandering, lagoon-style pools that weave between the four buildings to create an intimate compound that is lush with vegetation.

The Bird of Paradise offers four master suites with an office that can serve as a 5th bedroom.  The placement of the four suites, each with its own balcony and equal, panoramic views, assures individual privacy for guests.  Each suite has its own refrigerator and coffee service. Frette Linens, robes and slippers; Voss water, Bvlgari amenities; and Kona coffee enhance the luxury of this tropical retreat. Furniture and intricately carved stone tables, planters, and wall murals were all custom-designed and made for the owners in Bali. The villa also showcases their oceanic and African art collection gathered over the past 20 years.

Bird of Paradise is highly secluded. It is located above Sandy Hill Bay with direct access to a long and lovely crescent beach. Six countries can be seen from the verandahs, including the mountains of St. Maarten and St. Barths.

Suite Descriptions:
Suite #1: King Bed, whirlpool, indoor and outdoor shower, two sinks, dressing table, dressing room, mini bar and private plunge pool.
Suite #2: King Bed, whirlpool, shower, two sinks, walk-in closet, mini bar.
Suite #3: Two Queen Beds, shower, sink, dressing table, walk-in closet, mini bar.
Suite #4: King or Divided into Two Twins, shower, sink, dressing table, two closets and mini bar.
Bedroom #5: Attached to #4 as office, TV room for children, nursery or 5th bedroom. Two day-beds are ideal for children 10 and under.

All suites are air-conditioned and have their own private patio with a panoramic view. Each has a mini bar with refrigerator, coffee service, Frette linens, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, and Bvlgari amenities.

Sandy Hill Bay provides a long, crescent beach with panoramic views. One can view five countries, including St. Martin and St. Barths. The protected harbor provides sheltered swimming, snorkeling and a safe harbor for a small yacht. There are no large resorts on this secluded beach, so privacy is assured.
