Designed to combine indoor and outdoor living, each villa is a series of elegant pavilions surrounding a black volcanic rock, infinity-edged swimming pool, framed by extensive hardwood decking and lawns. Some villas also feature internal reflecting ponds. The free-standing bedroom pavilions are tall, elegant and spacious. Their glass doors open onto three terraces, and many feature both indoor and outdoor bathrooms.  A spacious living and dining pavilion, an outdoor dining sala and a fully-equipped kitchen complete each villa. Designed with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, dramatic overhanging rooflines and natural finishes in wood and stone, the overall effect is understated and graceful.

The villas are serviced by a personal cook and a housekeeper, who take care of all guests' needs, from intimate dinners for two, to receptions for larger gatherings. Villa guests also enjoy easy access to all the resort's facilities, as each villa is provided with two, four-seater golf buggies.

Every aspect of the operation of the villas is overseen by Amanresorts, including staff management, general maintenance, security, housekeeping, gardening and guest amenities.

The Pavilions at Amanyara - All accommodations are identical in layout and design yet differentiated by location.  An overhanging roofline creates shaded outdoor areas on the pavilion's three terraces which are accessible through large sliding glass doors that open to catch the cooling sea breezes. Arrival to a pavilion is via an entrance terrace that houses two daybeds. Sliding glass doors open to reveal the room's interior featuring a central king-size bed behind which sits a writing desk and chair. Beyond is a cabinet containing a personal bar with refreshments. Positioned in the corner of the room is a reading chair with a footstool and an entertainment unit including a flat screen television and DVD/CD player with surround sound. This combined bedroom and living room also opens onto two additional terraces, the first with twin banquettes for lounging or dining and the second with a sunken table with cushions, bolsters and two sunning mats.

The bathroom area is separated from the main room by a decorative wooden screen and features an elegant, freestanding bathtub with adjacent ottoman. Twin vanities are located on either end along with a separate 'rain shower' room and toilet. Accessed from the bathroom is a dressing area with hangers, storage space and a personal safe. The pavilions capture a tropical aesthetic by incorporating a simple palette of colors and materials. The floor is polished sand-coloured terrazzo with teak inlays and sisal matting used throughout.

Garden Pavilions: Pavilions are sited on the edge of tranquil ponds with a timber sun deck extending over the water.

Partial Ocean Pavilions: These pavilions are nestled in vegetation along the shoreline.

Ocean Pavilions: Positioned along the oceanfront with views of the ocean, these pavilions are elevated approximately 15-20 feet (6 meters) above the waterline, and have pathways leading to the rock formations above the sea.

Pavilion 115: Pavilion 115 enjoys sweeping ocean vistas and has direct access to a sandy beach cove.

Additional Inclusions:   Private airport transfers, non-motorised water sports, daily snorkel trips, use of tennis courts, equipment, and lessons, regular yoga classes, private bar (except spirits), afternoon tea, in-room wireless internet access and all telephone calls.

Beach:  Some of the villas and pavilions are located directly on the beach, while others are either located on the waterfront or in lush tropical gardens walking distance to the beach.
