Ferries run until early evening and can reach other lakeside towns such as Varenna in 15 minutes; Menaggio: 20; Lecco with excellent shops and museums: 25 and Como: 45. By car, San Primo Mountain is 30 minutes away; Lugano: 40 and Milan: 90.

La Vista is spacious, well cared for and adorned with antiques. A chess set designed by Pablo Picasso and a piano grace the living room. The master bedroom, larger than the others, comes with a writing desk and a variety of books, including journals of this area. Both a maid and a cook can be arranged if requested when booking.  Steps across the way, you can partake in a guided tour of the gardens of Villa Serbelloni, owned by the Rockefeller Foundation. Walking enthusiasts can embark on any number of self-guided tours of the hamlets that ring Bellagio.
