Mahogany Hill sits amidst a very private 4 acre forest garden on the crest of Mahogany Drive. The burgeoning exuberant gardens are profuse with scented flowers together with a stunning orchid collection - all carefully curated and nurtured by the owner. The villa commands superb views of the Tryall fairways, countryside and Caribbean Sea. Externally, the architecture of Mahogany Hill is influenced by the Caribbean, Asia and colonial Spain. The house is built on three levels and exudes a Zen-like aura of calm.

There is a magical aura to Mahogany Hill that takes you on a journey that begins with your arrival at the Balinese stone fountain and a garden of night flowering jasmine. Step further in and Bronze Burmese temple guardians watch over orchids and a further fountain gently trickles into a lily pond. Filled with Cuban art and Burmese and Balinese sculptures, the large sitting room is furnished with a focus on comfort, a sense of fun and visual stimulation. A dining gazebo surrounded by a riot of flowers contains museum-quality Oriental pieces and offers diners beautiful views out to sea. To the west is a further gazebo with the bar behind and this is a truly exceptional spot to linger in the late afternoon and watch the lights come on in distant Montego Bay across the ocean.

Outside an expansive pool deck wraps around the swimming pool with a separate children’s pool. The beautiful poolside gazebo which is furnished with Balinese water iris chairs enjoys wonderful views and mountain breezes providing a lovely location for a casual meal.
The bedrooms are well over 400 square feet each and are well-arranged to maximize privacy with two flanking the first and lower level west and east wings and the fifth, on a separate lower hideaway of its own with an entire room with two separate showers. An attention to detail is evident everywhere with 600 thread count sheets, hand embroidered in Thailand and thick towels from Frette.

The master bedroom and the first guest bedroom are on the main level and therefore are ideal for families with children. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a luxurious marble en suite bathroom with jet tub together with outside shower. The guest bedroom which is decorated for children has two twin beds which may be converted to a king bed and the en suite bathroom is similarly luxuriously finished and furnished.

Bedrooms fitted with king sized beds and luxury en suite bathrooms flank one each, on the east and one on the west of the pool deck on the lower level. These bedrooms open to terraces and sweeping views of the sea.

As you would expect, there is an exceptional team of seven staff to care for your every need. Mahogany Hill has three four-seater golf carts.
